Monitoring of fuel availability for generator set (Genset) at Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) in remote areas remains a significant challenge and necessitates an effective solution. The objective of this research is to develop and validate an IoT-based remote monitoring system to address this issue. The system utilized enhanced sensor module with a transistor switch to improve data linearity. A NodeMCU 1866 microcontroller with an RTC module was employed to monitor fuel levels, converting sensor readings into volume measurements for an 8,000-liters tank. The system demonstrated high accuracy, reporting level and volume data with a mean error of just 2.03%. This information was successfully transmitted and displayed via the Blynk and Telegram applications, as well as on a local LCD. While full deployment is currently limited by the requirement of additional protection against environmental contaminants, the prototype was successfully built and its operational feasibility was verified.
